Water Spot Correction on 2011 X5 - Sapphire Black
Hi All,
I got some great advice last year and I bought a bunch of zaino stuff to wash, clay and wax my car. There are however water spots all over the hood and the roof - some subtle and visible at an angle while some visible in light. The huge bird poop stain went away using Meguiars Scratch X 2.0 but is there any product that would stop it form happening - do I need a better wax or more layers of it. Claying has not helped to remove the water spots - what do I need to correct the paint. I read about porter cable and orange and other color pads but not sure what to buy. Can you guys point me what exactly should I buy that can help me correct the paint? Thanks. |

I have this issue from time to time, I typically use a mild compound and my orbital , problem solved, then wax if course...
Make sure vehicle is clean and cool to the touch .. |

I like to use Meguiars ultimate compound or ultimate polish, when used correctly they work great..my orbital is just a standard from sears, craftsman...

For hard water spots on paint, I started using CHEMICAL GUYS: Water spot remover. But dilute it, if i am not mistaken 4:1. IT is an acidic in base.
For windows, you can use the above, but don't need to dilute it. |

Your need to do a paint correction on your car. Go to youtube and look up junkman2008. He'll show you how to correct your paint.
