Did your GT come with a wheel lock key?
For whatever reason I thought to check tonight and see if the kit that came with my 2012 550 included that little key for the wheel lock. I checked the little pouch in the first compartment under the trunk and it wasn't there. I have the M-Sport 20" wheels. Thanks.

Negative, my car doesn't have wheel locks, none of my previous BMWs had wheel locks from factory, either... Not a concern since where I live rims don't get stolen...yet. (I know...I jinxed myself)

My 08 E93 M3 came with wheel locks. Good to know the GT doesn't. Thanks.

Wheel locking nut
I bought a 2nd hand 535 GT this week and was presented with the locking nut by the Dealership.
I know this post doesn't help much but you need one! |

I think the bmw OEM set is like $60 I think. Maybe some dealers throw them in for 'free' in some markets...Like floormats.

FWIW, I bought some McGards from the UK. These are much more secure than the BMW's sets. When I bought mine, the cost was similar to BMW's, but you have to look around for a supplier that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for shipping. Wheel locks are not a factory option that I've seen. Personally, I think they're a good idea as you may not have an issue where you live, but may end up having a problem while traveling...you never know, and they're cheaper and less hassle than dealing with your insurance agent and a potentially disabled vehicle.
