Broken Electric Seat
So I just recently bought a 1990 735i. The driver's seat does not work. When any of the buttons are pressed it does do anything. It dosen't even make sounds. What do I do?

First check fuses. If they are okay, check under the seat to see if connector is loose or unplugged. if all that is okay, use a meter to see if you have 12volts to the connnector. If not backtrack to see where you lost voltage. If voltage is there, it is a good chance the switch is bad. I have had to replace the switch in two of my three. Friends tell me they two found switch failure common on driver's seat. I wish you luck
