Bloody Weep Hole
Hi Guys,
Just wanted to ask, I recently got the weep hole leak on my car (02' 745Li -129,000) and was wondering can i fix the weep hole without changing the water pump gasket? I will buy everything needed i.e the Collapsible Pipe, Gaskets, O - Rings and other parts. But just wanted to get away with opening the fan, water pump, pulley and etc. ![]() Sent from my GT-I9300 using Bimmer App

Follow this link. it is almost the same as 745i. I did mine follow his instructions. Water pump is on the other side of cross pipe. That is why u do need to take it off |

Ok! If you have some questions while doing the job, u can ask and we will help you. Be careful with all plastic hoses and connections. If you disconnect all wiring from comps underneath cabin filter. It will be much easier to remove and install intake manifold. I did not do it,i would if i knew that time.

I think I got a good deal, considering the fast shipping to the UK via DHL $606 for the pipe kit and $102 for the shipping as I need the pipe ASAP as my cars been parked for a week now. The other parts i.e o-ring and valley pan etc I have ordered via BMW UK which turns out to be cheaper then ordering from US but the AGA Pipe no one in europe does it so I ordered that from Bimmerzone.comHave to say Vincent from Bimmerzone.com is a great guy and the customer service has been great so far Sent from my GT-N7100 using Bimmer App

I went with bimmerpipe. AGA was too expensive that time.

I took it to a Indy and had the AGA pipe installed and a new BMW water pump. You might want to look into spending the extra $$ to replace the pump as my Indy stated its a 7 hour labor bill and its right there. With my car just rolling 112,000 miles I replaced every thing I could including the expansion tank. I think my total bill was 2100.00 +\~

$2100 for pipe and pump and expansion doesn't seem bad right? BMW did my water pump at 80k.. I was hoping they did the pipe too because they had the car for 8-9 days.. but I called the dealer and asked them to read the notes and it just said pump..

Got the kit yesterday, kinda surprised with how fast the shipping was from USA to UK then again paid $102 for shipping.
Now waiting on BMW UK to supply the Bolts with washers, O-Rings, Valley Pan with Gasket, Intake Manifold Gaskets etc. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Bimmer App

But by searchig and reading around different forums I opted for the AGA, reason being did not feel comfortable with the Bimmerpipe as they mentioned putting some 'silicone sealant' on one end of their pipe (silicone sealant in my engine is a big no no personally). Secondly URO has more o-rings then any of the other i.e AGA and Bimmerpipe + URO dont have any reviews online and couldnt find posts which involved people using them. Spoke to Vincent from Bimmerzone who also said that they used to do the URO pipe but the AGA and Bimmerpipe collapsible pipes are more durable. End of the day you get what you pay for to be honest. I will be fitting the AGA pipe next week Monday/Tuesday as cant take a day off work this week. Also looking at the work that needs to be done I know I will be saving alot of £££££'s by using the collapsible pipe. ![]() Sent from my GT-N7100 using Bimmer App

I went with bimmer pipe. you put silicon (gasket) inside where robber ring goes. I has nothing to do with engine it stays between engine block and time chain cover. Hopefully u will fix it soon.

Wait a minute, so this AGA pipe is colapsable and thus alot less work? So basically this is a much easier job now with these aftermarket ones? What all is invloved not going the stock route? Thanks!
