Talking 2013 M3 Euro Delivery

Well, today I made the final decision. I was going to purchase a 135is or 335is but the leases on M3 improved so much this month I could not resist.

Here is the deal I agreed upon today. I placed my order this morning and already received my production number.

MSPRP: $66,595
SELLING PRICE: $57,920
REBATE: $1500 (Holiday Cash)
TERM: 36 months
RATE: .00106 due to max MSDs
ACT FEE: $725
DOC FEE: $399

If I coundt the doc fee I am getting the M3 for $750 over invoice before the Holiday Cash. After Holiday cash I am paying around $750 below EU Invoice.

This was a long journey. The funny thing is I started looking at a 328i manual Sedan and worked my way up the BMW lineup because I could not find a car that fit all my needs. The 135is and 335is was close but the M3 is my dreamcar.

Here is what I am getting

2013 BMW M3 w/ 6spd Manual

300 Alpine White
4MY Carbon Leather interior Trim
NCH2 Fox Red Novillo Leather
Z19 Double Spoke (Style 219M) Satin Chrome finish M light alloy wheels
(18 x 8.5 front, 18 x 9.5 rear; 245/40 front and 265/40 rear performance tires)

223 Electronic Damping Control
494 Heated front seats
609 Navigation system
615 Online Information Services
620 Voice Command
639 BMW Assist
6FL iPod and USB adapter
6NN Hands Free Bluetooth
6UH Real Time Traffic Information
7KB Navigation, BMW Assist w/ enhanced BT & USB

Between October and November the lease payments dropped $120 because of increased residual, lower MF and Holiday Cash. I was going to lease a 135is or 335is for around $550 a month in October. I am glad I waited!

Also you probably got a big 5 series for a reason, no?

Not really, I initially went in look at a 3 coupe, but thought that withe body change next year the incentives just were not strong enough - so went for the 5 since at that time it was a no brainer. At the 700 you refer to the 335 was not much of a deal where the 5

Who wouldn't love a chance to get their hands on what may be the last 8 cylinder M3 we will ever see.

f you don't mind my asking what was your residual? Is it $590 + taxes correct?

In any case, congrats you did get an amazing deal!

That includes tax. MD we pay tax on entire car not just on the payment.

The residual is 62% for 36 months/10k miles/year

As they say: Timing is of the essence.

Congratulations on the new car (at this price is sound like a steal). I'll be looking forward for your ED compliance picts!

I can replicate your payment by not including the 6% MD tax, however, including that tax raises the payment by about $50. Do you think the dealer is giving you a tax credit (which they sometimes do in states that tax the entire sales price of the car), or maybe the $590 does not include the tax?

I have tax credit because I'm turning in my CTS to the dealership.

Seriously no reason to sigh, if you already have regrets before your car has even arrived then you should probably think hard about making the switch.

That is crazy. I would not pay that much for a 328xi. Is it a coupe or sedan?

I knew someone would ask.

This is '13 328xi modern line, premium, lighting, heated seats, bmw assist / bluetooth.

MSRP is 47,195. Dealer would only go 2k offmsrp. , 39 months, 12K. No money down.

I'm in Illinois, Chicago specifically, so I have to pay taxes on the entire value of the car. Also, i have to do owner's choice or pay an additional 6% monthly tax on a lease. I don't know if this number included holiday credit and loyalty. I have to call and ask.

Taxes aside... I think you are getting robbed. Then they are coming back and asking you to like it. Contact a sponsor ASAP!

Hold up. You pay tax on the entire car and then on the payment as well. That does not sound right. That is double tax.... Do some research.

You are getting robbed. I'm paying less a month than you on a 68K car and I had to pay tax on the entire car too.

That's pretty much accurate. The city of chicago taxes leases. So when you think about it, it's really almost triple taxation since they tax my salary.

If i leased and wanted to buy out the car, I have to pay taxes again. At the end of the day, Owner's Choice is the way to go. It's marginally better. No City lease tax and I don't have to pay taxes again if I want to buy the car.

I'm going to crunch some numbers right now to see how much the dealer is trying to rob me. Also this is US delivery, the car is on the lot. Sorry if I confused anyone.

Shoot an email to one of the board sponsors (I recommend Adrian Avila) and get a quote from them. $620 sound horrible.
