12 hours compliance (35 days belated)

This is rather belated... My ED happened on October 4, 2012. I traveled with 2 friends -- a memorable trip and an amazing experience!

Over the years, I have traveled in Europe extensively for work and leisure (as a reference, this ED was my 6th trip to Europe this year!). So, my choice of destinations was driven by places I haven't visited yet and places that I love and wanted to visit again. Altogether, just under 1,200 miles in 12 days. A good mix of driving and hiking.

Here is the itinerary -- a 4-country Alps loop:
Oct 3. Munich, Germany
Oct 4. Munich ---> Salzburg --> Hallstatt, Austria
Oct 5. Hallstatt --> Grossglockner Pass --> Castelrotto, Italy (Alpe Di Siusi / Dolomites)
Oct 6. Castelrotto, Italy (Alpe Di Siusi / Dolomites). All day hiking. Virtually no driving.
Oct 7. Castelrotto, Italy (Alpe Di Siusi / Dolomites). A short drive to Bolzano to see Otzi -- the Iceman.
Oct 8. Castelrotto --> Pontresina/St. Moritz, Switzerland
Oct 9. Pontresina/St. Moritz --> Diavolezza, Switzerland
Oct 10. Diavolezza --> Stechelberg/Gimmelwald (Lauterbrunnen Valley) -- one of my favorite places on this planet
Oct 11. Gimmelwald, Switzerland
Oct 12. Gimmelwald, Switzerland
Oct 13. Gimmelwald --> Appenzel --> Ebenalp, Switzerland
Oct 14. Ebenalp --> Fussen, Germany
Oct 15. Fussen --> Munich
Oct 16. Drop off in Munich Airport

Oct 24. The car is loaded on the ship (AIDA) in Bremerhaven
Nov 8. The ship arrives in New York
??? Pick up from BMW Morristown, NJ (hopefully by Thanksgiving).

A few pictures from the trip:
At the Welt. I'm in the middle.

Took delivery on the 5th and car joined yours on the Aida. I agree with your remarks on Lauterbrunnen. The three of you completed an early bucket list item! Just do it again! Did you travel HWY 19 toward Lauterbrunnen off of A13? By the way there were three of us as well.

From St. Moritz, we took Abulapass road to 3 to 19. Lots of twists and turns.
p.s. I've been to the Jungfrau Region...I lost count, probably close to 30 times since 2000 (my first trip to Switzerland). And I rave about it to all my friends.
