How dors one take care of his/her semiautomatic/ clutchless manuel transmission?

Its not a clutchless transmission, but instead a clutched transmission controlled by a computer. Maintenance would be the same as a manual transmission, until it breaks or acts up. I wouldn't buy one used.

He MIGHT also be referring to a Steptronic....OP, please submit a pic of your shifter, so we can be sure of what trans you have.

Yea, I should have thought that, given that the SSG was only available in 325 the US in 2004 if memory serves. I only ever saw one 2004 325ci with it - it was in 2006, and the dealer was trying to almost give the car away.
