water pump
I am planning a water pump change, and would like to know all needed parts. I plan to buy the parts first, and then have labor done. Thank you for all your help.

Don`t just do the pump, do the whole cooling system....you`ll buy yourself a LOT of peace of mind for about $450....(kits are available for that price).

Well when I replaced the water pump I did all new pulleys the CCV, thermostat and hoses. If your having a shop do it I wouldn't do all that though.

My expansion tank is also "out of sequence" with the rest of my cooling system. Last year I did water pump, thermostat, upper and lower radiator hoses, water pump and alternator pulleys and both belts. If you still have a mechanical belt tensioner, you might consider upgrading to the hydraulic tensioner.
