2001 Z3 cup holders
I'm the new owner of a 2001 Z3 and the cup holders are to small for most any coffee cup/can etc. Any easy remedies?? I've looked all over for a small based cup that will fit but no luck to this date.

LeatherZ has the best stock-ish cup holders, but I think they hold the same size cup as stock. I bought the Z4 cup holders from UltimateCupHolders.com and modified them with some stainless-steel feet to fit the Z3, but you specifically requested an easy remedy.
The UltimateCupHolder for the Z3 has been "coming soon" for years.

One of my winter projects is getting a small piece of steel pipe the same OD as a 12 oz soda can and welding a pipe with an ID that will hold a 20 oz bottle then powder coating the whole thing black. I have the Leather Z armrest and love that part, but the cup holder will still only hold 12 oz cans.
