CD Nav To DVD Nav
Hi Guys, I am new to Bimmerfest and was hoping someone can give me some advise.
I have the CD version of the Sat Nav and was wondering if it is possible to change to the DVD version of the SAT Nav. My car is 2002 735i. Thanks Guys For such a great site. Steve

Not fully sure!!! But I'm sure you would have to update the software and reprogram the MMI, it really could not be as easy as swapping the CD navigation unit over to a DVD one (or could it?).
I'm on the fence whilst I investigate further

You dont need to do anything. I had my dvd nav in before i did my ipod retrofit with the facelift MMI. all you do is take out the cd unit and replace with the dvd unit.
