You should be able to get 0w40 at Wal-Mart for about $6.50 a quart. A regional chain in my area (Fleet Farm) carries it for a little less than that. No special orders for me

I found mobile synthetic Ow40 at Walmart in the big jug for $25.

Costco constantly has 6qt Mobil 1 5w30 and 10w30 Full Synth for 26$ - I buy a case or 2 every-time

I found the big jug 0w40 at the Walmart superstore. Mobile 1 synthetic.

Not in my area either.

I've seen the Mobil1 0W40 5qt jug at Advance Auto Parts too. But nowhere near as cheap as Walmart.

This is not just a regular Wal Mart. It's a HUGE Walmart Superstore. It's called a SUPERSTORE. My local Walmart never has it either.

i just called my local pep boys and they carry 0w40 so friday i will be going

Thanks. Local Pep Boys in Albuquerque carries M1 0w40 in 5qt jug. Regular price is ~$40/jug.

Local Walmart supercenter does not carry M1 0w40 at all.

I recently found a trick for cheap price!

Find the local supplier that supplies local dealerships. In my area, the supplier is "Sapp Brothers Co.".

Example: OReilly sells Mobil1 ATF for $9.95/qt.
Sapp Brothers sells the exact same thing for $7.50/qt!

So look into local supplier.

You are dreaming, Mobil1 ATF is $9.95/qt. Walmart does not sell Mobil1 ATF any more.
I checked recently and know for fact.

The point I tried to make is "local supplier to dealer".

The example I used was for "ATF", but same analogy for engine oil.

My bad- I thought we were discussing Mobil1 0W40
