Route 66 extended warranty

I just picked up a R66 extended warranty.
The cost was $2450 for 48mo/100k miles. It was $750 higher than I was quoted for a generic 2008 5 series. They said both the AWD and turbos triggered extra surcharges. Also, I got the top plan, "easy street," because it was the closest to a new car warranty with no electronic exclusions other than light bulbs. There were a few other notable exclusions like shocks.

Still, it was half of any dealers quote for similar coverage.

I've got the same plan. Really came in handy when I had to have my turbos replaced. ($3,900)

Got the same plan, same price.

Check the fine print - need to change your oil every 6 months or 6K miles. I called and tried to negotiate a longer time (which follows the BMW maintenance schedule) but these companies are old school and this is based on non synthetic oil.

When they first ran my VIN, the contract came back with my car listed as a 525d - with no turbo. I had to send them the window sticker to prove the turbos were not after market...

Have not heard any complaints yet about not getting reimbursed for repairs.

Good Luck!

I called them them to question the oil intervals, EASY STREET coverage is OK with what the OEM set at, the other 2 lower packages, main, and first street is 3month ,3k miles changes.
With Easy ST it sounds like your in good hands, my credit union just offered me this coverage.
Cheap insurance!
