Out of gas here in eastern Pa weeks after Sandy.

Well after filling up my tank with high test on Thursday I realized that 87 and 89 had bags on the pumps, did not think anything of it due to this happens on occasion. Well we made the news this weekend for running out of gas in the tri state due to Sandy effecting the gas lines. Could be up to five days or more till Sheetz and other gas stations in my hometown as well as all other local towns here in eastern PA. Is anyone else seeing this issue weeks after Sandy??

We were not hit by Sandy hard. Some lost power, some got flooded, and 30 min north got a crap load of snow. Was shocked to see and hear there is no gas to be delivered here for over a week. Seems to be a Sheetz thing as some little gas stations still seem to be getting gas. Just riding it out. Filled all three cars up last week.

Refineries in NJ and NY got knocked out of commission, so we are getting our fuel from PA. That is why PA has shortage too I guess. But it is getting better. NJ is out of odd/even days. Long Island stopped odd/even a few days ago, and NYC will stop it after Thanksgiving. So it looks like it is starting to stabilize. Probably two months for NY/NJ to bring their refineries back to close to normal capacity.
