You need a D1S 4300k bulb. Usually sold as Osram, Philips or Sylvania. They are all virtually the same. I think the oem ones are made by Osram, but not a big deal.
4300 is the color of the light, pure white and matching the other bulb. Going higher makes the light bluish as you see on some cars. You should be able to get the bulb for around $40. Just google or look on ebay. Get a new one that is DOT stamped. Otherwise they are Chinese replicas.

It,s strange that my car, of 2004, uses a bulb D2S, and in USA your cars use D1S xenon, but it,s possible , if you want to be sure you can watch the web page
Bmwfansparts.com and you will write the seven last digits of your chasis number, later you will search the lighting apart. And you should chance the two bulbs of the couple headlights. |

Agreed. Whenever I do a light replacement I always replace the pair and keep the one that was working as a spare. Assuming the failed light was new at the same time as the one that's still working, the likelihood failure of the second lamp is high.

i would go with a high quality D2S bulb such as MTEC D2S 6k, be careful with cheaper D2S bulbs, there is chance it can blow your OEM ballast.
