FUSES of Seconary Air Pump. P0491-P0492

Hi,

I have a 2000 BMW 740i. I shorted the circuit and blew out the fuse(s) of the secondary air pump when I replaced the oil cover gaskets (the positive terminal touched the body ground). Now, the car sends out the P0491 and P0492 error codes.
I remember to read that the fuse is somewhere in the passenger seat area. Please someone confirms and gives me more exact location of the fuse. I could not locate the fuse in the fuse box. It supposed to be 50 AMP? I need to fix it to pass the emission.

Yes, you need to remove the pass seat(DO NOT remove harness or Airbag light will illuminate,) you have to remove the plastic trim on side, remove the carpet, the insulation (you might have to break it), and you will find something that looks like a box with a bunch of red cables going in. I cant remember exactly if its the first one for the E38, like it is in the link above. It might be second, I don't know. It can be checked with a voltmeter once is removed, not on the car. Be careful how you handle tools in that area, because is hot. You might blow more fuses.

It is E38 engine: 2000 740i.

1. Fuse is Good - Today, Dec 8, 2012, I check the fuse that is still good with 12.15 volts on the voltmeter.
2. Would you please point me to where is about the relay switch (in the fuse box in the engine compartment) and the 2nd Air Pump?
3. I look around the oil cover and could not find any hose is broken or disconnected.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
