X5 question
Hi guys...I currently own a 2008 535xi. Thinking about trading in my Murano for an X5. My "issue" is which year of this model to purchase. Where there huge changes in the 2007 and up models? I noticed some interior changes but, mor concerned about mechanical and other issues. Might be a dumb statement...after all it is a BMW.
I like the 2008 models, but I ear that the 2006 models were good as well. I'm also steering away from the 4.0 (8 cylinders). Thanks for any suggestions.... |

Here's some information below from BIMMER magazines June/2006 issue that had an e53 X5 Buyers Guide...obviously some things have changed since 2006 (like an increase in the availability of tires)...and there is a typo in the model information...the 2004-06 4.4i V8 came with a 6 speed automatic tranny.
If you haven't done so yet...an internet/google search for info about the current e70 X5 should turn up significant information about the 2007-up X5. For instance, if you type "2007 BMW X5 review" into a google search box...you'll get more than enough "results" to answer your questions as to what changes came with the new generation of X5s ![]() ![]() ![]()
