Used engine. There are probably many chassis parts that, if not having already been replaced, will soon need it. Not much sense in putting Big Bucks into a major engine rework.

I'm curious what diagnostic test implicated the head gasket?

- -Looks like I'm going to go the route of a low mileage engine and rebuild the blown one. M52 will be staying. Looked into the turbo route of this engine and they are being done in the 3 series, why not with the 5 series?- -

- -So I have decided to either fix my current motor or get another motor. If i keep my motor, I am looking into upgrading the cams and intake with the M3 OEM stuff. Is there a list of OEM parts that would be good upgrades for the M52 motor?- -
