If you had 3,000 (US) to spend on you "Wife"
Hey guys, sorry it's been a while. Update on the 325i, drove 10k miles and still no problems, just a brake light that went out
![]() I wanna sell my motorcycle for about 3k US. What would you do with that money? I would love some boost but I dont think 3k is enough to do it SAFELY lol. |

In that case I'd rather keep the current one.

But all seriousness. I'm just reading up on some kits. I know I'm 1-2k short but I wouldn't mind spitting out a little more .

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm trying to save for an R1200GS.
How about some serious suspension upgrades? You could replace pretty much everything and maybe still have enough for a set of OZ's.

+1... best bang for the buck is suspension, sways, and a square lightweight wheel/tire combo. Dropping weight on the wheels will make your car feel like it got a hp increase. Stock wheels are really heavy!

I'd buy a backup 2 seater car. That's what I did. Tons of MR2s & Miatas for $3k.

do all possible preventive maintenance (as not to buy a backup MR2 as av98 suggested
), and with the money left upgrade your ride's stability systems as mentioned above, and do an M-tech kit conversion

HAHAHA first off Merry Christmas!
I thought about suspension but I JUST bought brand new tires and an alignment so I didn't really wanna throw away that money. I have thought about suspension but then i realized I do allot of rough driving. for instance 2 days ago i drove down to Florida and there is this really nice, flat (for the most part), dirt road. I turned DSC off and well... you know. ... I showed the wrx and sti kids how its really done!So If i did Get suspension I would wanna stick with a stock height, maybe a SMALL drop. But imma wait for the tires to go first. As far as the back up car, this puppy is FINE with me. No problems, just the brake light. I thought about a fiero or miata but by the end of the day... nothing comes close to a Bimmer!!! So far if it ain't some boost (which would be fun), its full suspension and some nice seats (mine are nice condition but I'd like my wife to hug me back! )If not that then sell everything and get a m3. If I get this job with VW then it would definitely be m3 ftw lol - then work on that mad dog!

Does AA not make a stage 1 for the 325i???? all I'm finding is this stage 2 http://store.activeautowerke.com/act...lower-p41.aspx Could that be run with a stock motor SAFELY?
Way out of my budget but it crossed my mind lol! What about the VF set up? Is it worth it? http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...m-e46-3-series Then the ess TS1? - http://www.esstuning.com/products/M5...28TS1%29-.html What u like best? Last edited by jmansour; 12-25-2012 at 01:56 PM. |

The responsible thing to do would be cover ALL maintenance items first. Cooling system, o2 sensors, new fuel pump, air filter, cabin filter, fuel filter, control arms and bushings, rtabs, diff and trans fluids, belts, pulleys, and the list goes on and on.
Once done, you should have enough to buy some sway bars which are the best mod you can do. Sent from my One X using Bimmer App |
