I was just at the dealer to change my rear brake pads. The dealership wants 668 dollars!!!! Is this correct? Thank you!

well the pads only are around 150 plus labor, but are you sure they are not replacing the rotors too? I hear thats standard practice for BMW
Might want to have them put it all in writing as to what they are doing Hondo |

Sounds normal for dealer prices

Akebono pads - $65-70 per axle. Rotors - $70-75 each (Zimmerman coated). Sensor - $10. Labor from indy - $179 per axle.

If it includes the rotors the that's typical for dealer prices.

That's without rotors, I'm positive. I was in the dealership in person not on the phone. They told me pad were almost 500? That's ridiculous!! I called another garage and they 200 for everything. But what should I do about the dealership? Thank you all again I do appreciate it!

call another dealer and get an estimate over the phone, its a standard repair, and tell your dealer what they quoted and that they are frikin out of their mind, sounds like your dealer thinks you are an idiot or got tons of money
