When you turn the key what sound(s) do you hear?
Fuel pump? Engine turning over? Starter engaging? Starter clicking repeatedly? Starter just clicking once? No sound at all?

First off, check your battery terminals for corrosion and tightness.
Then I'd test your battery, fuel pressure (you can by a fuel pressure gauge from Harbor Freight for ~$20), then we'll get into testing for spark.

Crank or cam position sensor. It's not firing the plugs or the injectors or both.

OBD2 cars, go to Advanced Auto and rent the scanner. Bring it home, plug it in, turn key into the on (don't start) position, scan. Sounds like a Crank Position Sensor or Crankshaft Position Sensor. But I am just a keyboard mechanic. |

Absolutely NOT for the MAF!!!!!
Use an electrical contact cleaner for the MAF, (Or specific MAF cleaner). aYnd you can use Carb cleaner on the ICV.
