Nav Disk Works Intermittently

2011 nav disc made on eFilm Archival Gold DVD-R disc sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. When it doesn't work, if I shut down the car and restart, it'll sometimes work. I made the disk with Imgburn at the slowest possible setting (4x).

Am I using the wrong type of media (DVD-R) or should I simply try again with different settings.

I'd really like to get this working 100% if possible.

I would bet the DVD driVe is having problems. Had them replaced in both my 545 and 550 cause of the same issue.

Had exact same issue with my 08 550. It's your DVD optical drive going bad. Had dealer replace it cost me about 400.00 since my warranty had expired. No issues since, dealer advised common issue.

Try a diff DVD-R. I burned my 2012 with a blank DVD-R I had laying around, flawless for about 4 months now.
