Was getting the DSC light on my 2000 323i all summer, now that the temps are cold the light stays off. Only time is has come on is after a long drive and it sits idling.
I have replaced a couple wheel sensors in the past, was wondering if the heat is causing DSC unit problems? |

Check and clean all of the wheel speed sensors connectors. I can't be sure in your situation of course, but the connectors shrink in the cold weather, and cause contact to be made again. After you clean the contacts with manual cleaning and Deoxit, coat the actual contacts with dielectric grease to ensure a good, long lasting contact. To check which actual wheel speed sensor is at fault, if this is in fact the problem, you need the actual BMW computer. Generic OBD II will only tell you wheel speed sensor, not which one.
