New to the BMW Scene

I wanted to introduce myself; I am new to the BMW scene, but not new to cars and modifying by any stretch. I am the owner of an after-hours appointment-only performance shop in Raleigh, NC called Urban Legends Motorsport (I am a mechanical engineer by day, but plan to make the shop full time when I can afford to). I have build many custom cars before, but being a Bimmer forum, I want to show you guy my latest project, a 1983 BMW 733i 5-Speed.

Previous owner installed:
-New Starter
-New Alternator
-H&R Sport Springs
-E28 Bilstein Sport Dampers, Custom-Valved
-BBS Front Valance

Since I have owned it:
-New vacuum hoses where needed
-All new fuel lines from the gas tank
-New Distributor seal, cap, rotor, ignition wires and spark plugs (OEM Bosch)
-Fixed all interior rattles, burned out bulbs, and broken pieces (except the cracked dash of course)
-New OEM oval shift knob
-New Clarion 4"x6" speakers all around, new wiring run along OEM paths, new shorty antenna run from JVC Radio
-New rear left outer window trim
-New front driver door inner trim
-2 new door handles
-Fixed Cruise control and OBC (needed new CC computer and the OBC fuse was burned out)
-Wanted more sound out of the car, ran dual 2" pipes into a dual in/out Magnaflow muffler with dual 3.5" Magnaflow tips (I have the rear muffler still if someone wants it)
-17"x8" Borbet Type E wheels with Cooper 225/45/17 tires
-New Coolant Temp Sensor to fix the hesitation issue once and for all
-New IACV Hoses
-New fuel injector O-rings (preventative maintenance)
-New OEM Emblems w/ bavauto dark gray vinyls

Future:
-New hood
-BBS Rear Heckspoiler to finish the BBS look
-Shadowline the chrome trim
-Tints
-A few other custom ideas I don't want to give up yet

Welcome! I think I know of your work; I used to post on NCDubs when I both owned a VW and lived in NC. IIRC, you did some work for some of those guys.

And, you know, BimmerFest East is in Aberdeen, MD on July 20. You should definitely come up!

It's quite possible, glad you remembered the name. I'll definitely check into the BMW meet...
