Question Please be honest. Do you like this?

This is essentially what my car will look like, and I worked out a deal to have the decals installed at the VDC prior to delivery. I like them but I need a reality check.

I think it looks great and distinct from the other M cars.

Jon. One word.... NO! I will personally fly to S.B. and hit you upside the head if you ruin the new M3 with this. Sorry if I seem harsh, but you wanted honesty so that is what you are getting.

IMO, take a pass on the stripes. The carbon fiber trim pieces against the Alpine White is enough. Though for a BMW specific show day, the stripes could work.

Yes, that's basically the BMW Performance Center M3- which look great in person.

I would not do it - a little too "enthusiastic" for me, but as several others have said, you should not be governed by the opinions of others. IMO the essence of the M experience is a passionate personal connection with the machine - proudly go fly your M "flag".

I am glad someone has actually seen it...

I am getting all of the other CF bits, so that is my car. I never thought I would like AW/Carbon Fiber but we just sold an R8 that was white
and loaded with carbon fiber trim and it was THE best looking R8 I've ever seen by a mile..

I wouldn't do it if it were me, but since you are in SoCal you can get away with it.

Regardless of what everyone says here, if it blows your hair back I think you should go for it.

And don't forget to get matching ones for your surfboard while you're at it!

Do it. It's your car, if you like it that is all that counts. And, if you decide after awhile that it is not doing it for you any more a heat gun and time will put it back to stock. Mods are for you to enjoy, not others to admire (though it is nice when they do ).

The question should really be: Do YOU like it.
I like it and would consider getting this. I am not big on customizations, so big thumbs down on razor thin low profile tires and chrome wheels, or spoilers, for that matter. But I think this looks nice. In the end, it's what you want/like that matters, no?
What color is your car? Can't tell if it's white or gray.
