2006 E53 4.4L Oil Pan

Does anyone know how hard it is to change the pan gasket on an E53 4.4L. Do I have to remove the subframe? are there instructions or pictures any where. I just bought it and it looks like valve cover gaskets and oil pan gasket.

Mein Auto: BMW X5 4.4i
while on oil issues, i need urgent advice folks, i have a 2006 X5 4.4i. Yesteday it displayed a "STOP - ENGINE OIL PRES" message on the dashboard. i switched off the engine, re-started it five minutes later and drove off slowly. when i stopped, it briefly gave "CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL" message and I checked the oil level and its fine. the car has done 120,000kilometres. Could i be dealing with a faulty oil pump, and if so, how do i check it?
