Ive just been reading about this. There is a guy on here that knows what he is talking about and he always says to get the struts that match the springs. I put lowered springs in a Commodore and it stuffed the standard struts.

You will wear the stock shocks/struts quickly with that aggressive of a drop.

When you replace, you should do after market shocks/struts meant for lowering springs.

Regardless of whether or not you repalce with a brand new OEM setup, the OEM shocks/struts are not valved for lowering springs.
