Selecting Driver Assist Plus disables Cold Weather on website configurator?!

My wife is speccing out her new X3, and she found on the configurator tool on the website that when you select the Driver Assistance Plus option (speed limit info, lane departure) it disables the cold weather option. WTF?

I have both of these options on my F30 335, why would the X3 not be able to have both? Is this a configurator bug, or is this for real? That would be a massive shame if true.

That is the case. Can't have heated steering wheel with the vibrating steering wheel. But you can get heated front seats as a separate option but u lose out in the rear heated seats and headlight washer. I choose the cold weather package as my wife sits in the back seat with the baby 90% of the time and I wouldn't rely in the lane assist anyways.

Good luck with your purchase!

Just replied in another thread about it. My fried just bought 2013 x28i which has both heated steeering (cold weather pkg) and Driver assist pks (i.e. lane departure with vibrating wheel). I am not sure why they would discontinue this in 2014

How odd. I have both the vibrating steering wheel and heated steering wheel in my F30. Why can they do it for one car and not another??? Makes no sense.
