Transmission in France for 330i

Hello everyone. I am new here, and this is my post.
I've already tried searching, but couldn't find a
concrete answer yet, and now need some clarification.
I stopped by the BMW dealership last night to browse
around at some 3-series, which IMO, is BMW's most
dazzling series.
I discovered that the transmissions of the 325's were made
in Germany, but the 330's were made in France.
I think the 330's w/ Performance Package were made
in Germany. Why is this so? Wouldn't the transmission
made in Germany better?
Doesn't the 330 and the ZHP use the same transmission.
Just need some clarification and understanding of these variations.

Thank you.

Made by GM in France. Those made in Germany are by ZF. They are all made to BMW specs. They are all good. Not everything from Germany has to be better.

If any, GM transmissions have higher torque ratings than ZF for a similar application.
