Bimmerfest made me sick...

Ever since Saturday I have been completely heartbroken...

When I left Cutter in 2003 I traded in my 328Ci for a Toyota Tundra
recognizing the need for utility with all of the time off while going
to grad school (hauling the dirtbikes, the boat, the kids, surfboards,...etc.)

Well, I am f-ing sick of it!!!

Look what's sitting in my driveway right now. I am almost ready
to pull the trigger. Bimmerfest made me realize just how badly
I NEED to drive a BMW on a daily basis again...

It's a '99 w/70k mi. Power seats, roof, HK, Cruise, the works.

I like to sell mine, not looking for a premium price. '01 jet black, 5 spd, leather, moon, HK, M1 oil every 5K miles, not a single ding, 60.5K miles, orignial owner, CA car. always garaged, non smoker, 100% stock, everything is just perfect. I like to sell it and get a new 997, but, I won't be welcomed to Fest anymore. Naw, not selling.

Make sure you work a good deal on it. Oh, and make sure you tell them you know a thing or two about BMWs.

Yeah Jon Tundras kinda suck, that's why I leased mine. There is a person that goes by Komodo9 on bimmerforums who is currently running carfaxes.
Shouldn't this be in the general auto forums?

Mine's not a bad truck at all. I hate the seat, though - needless pain and
suffering...

That M3 felt sooo good when I drove it today. I'm trying to trade straight
across and get a little cash back to cover the few little issue with the BMW..

Who better than you knows if it's right for you. That said, I say: streamline your life to focus on your vocation, family, and surfing for your soul. The boat and bikes are extra fat. So, get a sporty bimmer, buy a rack for the stick, and smile every time you merge onto 101 at full throttle.

My thoughts exactly!!!

You know, when I bought the E39 Touring I spent about $1,500 to
set it up as a tow vehicle, but then worried about it getting thrashed
(that was part of the impetus behind getting the truck - preserving the
wagon).

Now I don't care any more...

I have a very good friend who is a PsyD (Doctor of Psychology); he's been doing clinical psychology for nearly 30 years - he's on his fourth Corvette; he just bought a C6, and took me for a ride up Ortega Highway (and all the Inland Empire/Orange County people said, "Yeah, baby!" )

I only needed defibrillation once we got to San Juan Capistrano...

He's had other cars, but his therapy is driving his 'Vette...he's a lot happier!

Are you talking about the M3 or the Rolls in the background?

nice Rolls in the back ground. is the BMW just for running to the market on a rainy day?

I had a 1st year Tundra regular cab with the bench seat - the seats were hell on the lower back. I drove it once from NH to MI and back to tow a car here - after the first 150 miles I hated the seats.

That M3 seat should be much better
