Part # anyone?

Anyone know what the part number of this Z3 Coupe steering wheel is?

I'm looking for the black + chrome one (without the blue shown below).

I want to replace the stock one I have on my99 Z3 Coupe. I have the four spoke one.

That looks like a E46 non-M non-cruise/stereo SP wheel to me.

The bottom insert piece is available to match every interior trim available on E46s. I think you can find the PN of just that part on bmw330ci.com

If you are going to go to the trouble and expense of getting a new airbag, I would get the E46 M3 wheel instead.

Either way, this is probably a $1000 mod. Do you still want part numbers?

There is a black-black one on ebay now for $198. But the airbag price will be much more than that.

Thanks JonM.

I like your idea of moving to the new M3 wheel. Could you screen capture the part number for me?

Also, would you know if the M3 one is available without the buttons as they do us no good on our Coupes.

I haven't decided which way to go yet (M Coupe, 330ci or M3), but I need to replace my existing wheel. It's started to wear down really badily in the 10 o'clock position, plus some of the threads have begin to loosen and hang down. According to my dealership, and one other in my area, neither problem can be covered under the warranty.

So, that's why I'm interested in swapping it out completely.
