F22 / F23 2 Series (2014 - Current)
The 2 Series coupe is the replacement for the E82/E88 1 series coupe. Production starts in November 2013 on the 228i (N20) and M235i (N55) coupes. Look for them in dealerships in February 2014. The convertible F23 2 series will follow in the fall of 2014.

Tim, thanks for the info! I am ordering a 2018 LCI M240i and more info is always great.

One tidbit I took away from looking at the Tech Training Doc is that it shows a manual option. There some misinformation flying around 2 weeks ago based upon a bad translation of an interview with BMW's Financial Chief Nicolas Peter. Initially it was reported that the 2018 2 Series would lose the manual based upon this interview. When BMWNA commented on these reports, they gave a promising, yet not decisive comment, that the manual option is still alive given all the information that they have. That being said, they did say it could change in the future. The fact that all pricing guides, build guides, and now the tech training doc show a manual option, I think we can safely say the manual is still alive in the LCI 2 series.....for now.

Thanks Tim,

A couple things popped out at me. An oil temp gage returns, and a coolant cooled AC condenser. Led headlights. Adaptive cruise control but only on 230i with auto tranny.
