Hi, i was wondering if anybody new how fast a 2000 328ci goes 0-60 but in automatic?

About 5....maybe 6...days. Sorry, I couldn't resist The Steptronic is a nice transmission (one of the better "manu-matics" I've driven) but it is definitely slower than a manual.

Performance may suffer but at 7:00 a.m. in bumper to bumper traffic with a bagel in your hand it becomes the "Ultimate Breakfast Machine"

It's 6.5 for a manual-- so I would add another second on for auto and say about 7.5 seconds...

that sounds about right. i was going to say around 7.3 seconds.

i wonder how many posts before someone says bmws are not drag racers and 0-60 is not the measure of a car and how a bmw is made to handle and yada yada...

According to the spec posted here a manual will do it in 6.5 secs. For an automatic add 1 sec to that.

According to bmwusa.com (as of 3/1/2000), it's 6.6 for manual, 7.2 for auto.

I was just curious to know because my friend who owns one of those new scion TC's he is trying to beet me and he is even going to put a super charger in it just to beet me. but he has automatic so it will be like exactly the same as mine im pretty sure unless anybody has any different information.
