I hear this suble click-click-click noise when slowing down

I just had Michellin Pilot Sport PS 2s installed on my 330i. When I slow down to brake, I hear a sublte or very faint click-click-click sound -- it is very subtle but annoying. If the radio is on, you can't hear it. Seems llke I had this one time with anohter vehicle but I can't remember what it was or if it just went away.

Anybody ever experience this or have an idea what it is?

That's your fix right there. Turning the radio up is the cheapest way to fix a car problem.

Could it be the 'playing card in the spokes' trick?

This has happened to me as well. It was a pebble in the tire in my case. Pulled it out and the noise was gone.

When you hear the ticking, it is coming at about the frequency with which the wheel would make one revolution at that speed?

I used to work at a building that had a landscaped front area with a 'pea gravel' drive. I'd be flicking pebbles out of my treads almost every day. If not it was tick-tick-tick-tick-tick.... all the way home
