Question Is this Jet Black or Black Sapphire?

All,

I'm going to go order my 330CIC today (yay), but I want to know what colour to get...

Can anyone tell if this car I test drove is jet black, or black sapphire? I've seen the subtle difference in black sapphire, where it looks signficantly different than the soft top.

I only kno wI really liked this used car I test drove last year, but now I don't know what colour it is? I'm ordering jet black if that's what it is..

When I saw the first pic, with the rain, I was going to say Sapphire, but I agree, if the 2nd pic is the same car, it's Jet Black.

I have Sapphire -- due to the metallic flakes, it doesn't appear quite as black as Jet. But the "fire" of the metallic flakes in sunlight is very nice, IMO.

Ok, you said you're getting your car today. Make sure to let us know what you end up with. And please, post pictures ASAP.

BTW, all this fuss over color (trust me, you'll be happy regardless of what you choose), I'm amazed you haven't asked questions about pricing, incentives, and/or options. Seems that color would be the least important question if you're at all indecisive.

Pricing wasn'ta large issue, neither was options (other than rims). I am probably the only person who likes hte stock 17" sport rims. Color is the most important questoin to me now because I don't want ot be driving someting that I hate to look at for the next 5-10 yeras.

Jet black it is, pictures will NOT be posted ASAP unless by ASAP you mean 2 months for it to get delivered - no navigation system on any jet blacks close enough, it's being built new.

I agonized for months over colors and then just said the heck with it....if you're going to get a Bimmer, you've got to go black. Dust and dirt be damned !

The interior color, on the other hand, was easy....Natural Brown

Car ordered, papers signed. Dealer told me it would be april production for may delivery, i said too long. He then talked to another dealer and they are working on a "Trade" right now. He sai dhe would call m ein 30-45 minutes and hopefully I will be able to go back in and put my dpeosit down for him to order it now, for a march production and april delivery - right when my graduate school starts.

Smile, happy valentine present to me when I'd rathe rhave a g/f...I will have a BMW. =)

Oh, color you ask?

Well Sapphire Black DOES hide swirl marks better than Jet. I think Jet black is a deeper black though which I like better.
