X3 Lease and Retail Enhancements

Effective today.... BMW announce a lease rate reduction for 2005 X3 3.0 from .00125 to .00100 and X3 2.5 from .00210 to .00160 .

Retail finance rate special is now 2.9% buy rate. This program is effective 2/16/2005 and expires 3/31/2005.

P.S. Buy rate does not mean "going" rate for lease quotes.

Can an X3 be ordered and qualify for this deal, or does consumer have to take one
sitting on dlr's lot?

Well, you must take delivery by 3/31. At this point, time is running out to order one to your own specs and have it show up at your dealer by that date.

I spedread over the "del date" of 3-31.
Obviously a move iron off the lot deal, or combined selection with what's in the
dlr's pipeline.

Lease incentive. Duh.
Normally I would be jumping to get into a new BMW.
But this has been different for me. As soon as I built everything on the x3 3.0 that I wanted it, something wasn't working. There was always a limitation.
Either I wanted sport seats and rims but not the sport suspension, or I wanted sport suspension but not leather seats, sport handling but not if it meant beiing tossed! or I wanted the matte titanium trim of the 2.5 and not brushed aluminum, satelite prep but not if it meant losing iPod funtionality, premium sound but not if it meant iPod functionality, premium package but not if I lose iPod functionality.
There is a limitation on all the options I was building. If i'm going to spend 40k I want what I want!

I would be willing to forgoe much of this if... I totally liked the body style and most importanly it was a bit cheaper. my builds where getting close to the cost of an X5, Tourage or even Cayenne!
They need to lower the price and add more standard features.
I'm mean, in the year 2005 you can't even get leather, xenon or a decent stereo without breaking 40k? These should be standard.

now that the lease is more attractive, I'm going to move forward. I need a small SAV to tow my boat, a daily commuter that drives like a sedan or even a coupe. The handling of the X3 is what saves this car, er, SAV. So its time to leave my beloved 328ci coupe behind.


I'm going to miss my 328ci coupe... I wish I could have both! I just hope these lease incentive don't also mean a body style or engine change for 2006 x3's.
