I would caution you on the '00 and '01 X5's. if you read the reviews from owners on www.edmunds.com you will hear about lots of annoying glitches with those model years. It seems to subside drastically with the '02 and up. Just looking out for you. Could be the reason that there are SO many '00 and '01's for sale out there?

I would also recommend taking the VIN to a dealer and pull the service history. If it's spent more time in the shop then on the road, it may not be such a good deal. At that price, though, it's definately worth doing some further investigation.

what do you guys think about this one? I'm thinking it's not a 2002, but a 2001, it doesn't have the auto headlamps on the head light switch, am I wrong?

Based on the VIN, it's definately a 2002.
