Any way of making those green bars go away faster ;-)

With March right around the corner, the itch for the Summer Tars is starting. I was hoping that by some miracle, the 2 green bars would dwindle down so I could bring the car in for Service I with the winter wheels on the car. I would prefer not bringing in the car with the HRE's or plan B, which was to remount the winter wheels on when Inspec. I rolled around.

I don't think a couple of extra cold starts will make those green bars go away....
Anyone have some miracle tip to make those green bars dwindle down

The aftermarket rims won't change the warranty; why the concern?

It's not the warranty I'm concerned about. It's possible damage + I don't want no *helper* to go full blast on the impact wrench. Call me old skool but it's always hand tight with wrench and then torque with the torque wrench. It's the ONLY way I mount my wheels .

I can understand your pain. When I gave my X for mounting winter wheels, they overtorqued the wheels and no way I could open them to install the spacers. Broke few sockets in the process. Finally bought the 'extendible nut wrench' form Griots Garage. That plus a 3 feet pipe fitted on it did the trick. Never letting those bozos touch the wheels again.

Dontcha just love the cheater bar when you need it.

I used quite a bit of cheater bars back in the heyday when I helped my friend replumb his entire house. That must of been SUPER Torqued if that long griots handle + 3 footer was needed to get those bolts loose

You can service it anytime you want. You just have to pay for it. But if you want it to be done under warranty you have to wait.
