BMW depreciation

How much does a 325i depreciate every year assuming 12k miles on a annnual basis?
I'm trying to project what my car is worth if i sell my 2001 BMW that currently has 77k miles and in 3 or 4 years sell the car when it has 110k miles (so in year 2008- selling a 2001 with 110k miles).

Depends on how you look at it: $3,587.62 per year, or $0.94 per mile, whichever is greater.

So basically, your car is worth nothing. In fact, if you want to unload it, you'll have have to give it away, and offer about $35,000 to the buyer as incentive for him to take it.

Your car could be worth about 20K now. A '98 is worth about 13K and a '97 is worth about 9K, so $3,000 per year depreciation should not be too far off for you, but there are a lot of unknowns here.

I bought a used 2001 with 35,000 miles on it. Came off a 3 year lease. I got it for $12,000 off the sticker from when it was new. So $4,000 a year.
