I just saw this grill cover on ebay, and think it looks great, but not sure about airflow issues.
anybody ever seen this grill cover screen or had one on their car? It looks cool, but I don't want to put it on my car and have it lower my performance... anybody have any thoughts? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7954763853

Wow. That may be the single most ghetto mod I've seen so far this year.

Hrm, there is a Jaguar XK8 in the Doctor's lot which has something similar. Now it does have an actual metal weave (and not punched out holes which the e-bay ad might have), and I really like the way it looks.

Wow. It looks to me like the guy on ebay is buying old grill air filters and cuting them into strange shapes to sell to BMW fans. (no pun intended) But the Jag photo is of an XK8-R The high performance Jag. The HP Sedans have that interesting grill look too!!

Here's some i made. Didn't turn out terribly well but it was my first attempt
I suggest if your are going to go for grilles, don't go for the shiny silver stuff, it looks wack. |

hey vips - do you have any pics of your grill on your car?
I like the ones on ebay in silver (someone *did* buy that set at the auction), but I'm curious to see the black one you made - what kind of material is that? I may buy one from the ebay dude for fun...its only $23 - I lose that in change under my car floormats anyhow... you only live once my friends! Quote:

Go for it, if you like it well that is not bad for so little money. If you don't well you can use it for something else. It's your car mode it the way you want it.
