Where to store a 330i for a month - Bimmerfest

Hi folks,

Here's my deal. I'm moving to Southern California in May, and I'm going out there to find an apartment next month in April. I'd also like to pick up a 330i while I'm out there, but I'll need some place to store it. What are my options? I'm looking for something that's as safe as possible and not unreasonably priced. Self storage facility? Will a car fit? What else?

Why not wait to get it until you are out there. If that is too chancy for you, then give the dealer a deposit for the car and tel lthem you wilpick it up ion 30 days or otherwise workit out woith them Fo 30 days and a sale, they should be willing to work with you. They probably won't want to sell it and then hold it for you for liability reasons, but they can hold it if you give them $500.00 or $1,000...this way you don't have the hassle of finding a plce, paying for it, etc..

Well, I'm assuming that they won't do that since they're not assured that the dealer incentives will extend to May. Would this actually be the case or am I thinking too much?

You may just ant to get to the 11th houron the sale and then say, "Oh, bythe way, I want the car but either need to store it or wait for the delivery". Of course they will not want to wait on delivering it and pobably point you to a good option since they want the sale.

If you make the sle contingent on this, I'm sue they will have something to provide to you.

The new 3er will be out in May as well, making e46 availability scarce.

Order it from Europe now, then it'll be ready for you when you get to SOCA!
