Steering wheel problems
Hi all
I was wondering if anyone could help me with problems I am havign with my steering wheel - first fo all it creaks when driving though it is not stiff or causing any other problems. Secondly the wheel doesn't lock once I've taken the key out the ignition. this only happened recently after the cover below it was taken off. Any ideas? Thanks in advance guys.

i have the same problem with my 3 and my bro had the same problem with his 5 series. hmm, i sprayed a silicon lubricant up in it and it seemed to silent the noise (especially when it was cold, it was much louder). it still does it every so often, i'm not sure
