E82 / E87 / E88 / F20 1 Series (2008 - 2014)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by a naturaly aspirated inline 6 in the 128 or the turbo twin power inline 6 rocket sled 135.

1.18i clicking noise inside the car

Hello from North Cyprus,
This is my first post here so i would like to thank you all members here for helping each other.
I have read all posts related with my problem but i could not find the same one so i need some help.
I hear some clicking sounds from the dashboard. So I took it to the service and they told me that everything is normal with the engine and the sound i hear is all of because it is convertible. Since Cyprus is a very hot place for 9 months in a year they told me that it is the sound of plastic ***61516;
As a woman it is a bit more difficult to deal with such problems. To be honest i do not understand about engine or any other car stuff.
I recorded a video also but the sound is not very clear. By the way i hear it while driving. No sound is when i do not move. Frequency of ticking (or clicking) increases as the car goes faster.
Thank you in advance,
Sarem
