E82 / E87 / E88 / F20 1 Series (2008 - 2014)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by a naturaly aspirated inline 6 in the 128 or the turbo twin power inline 6 rocket sled 135.

Random braking when accelerating

We have a 2013 135 convertible which is braking on its own. Although random, it can happen daily. It typically happens when accelerating from a stop and turning onto a perpendicular road. You press on the accelerator, turn onto the road and then it either stops or slows you way down. It does not happen when driving straight down a road.

The BMW dealer has replaced the wheel sensors and DSC control units after getting advise from BMW. The problem is still there after two weeks of service.

Any ideas? This is dangerous.

If it is dangerous then report your difficulties at SaferCar.gov
