Fuel system cleaner and injector cleaner...

Someone gifted me a Royal Purple injector cleaner AND a Royal Purple fuel system cleaner. This baffles me because in my entire life I thought these were same things... I read descriptions on the website, and they seem to do similar things, although fuel system cleaner seems to do a lot more.

So... How should I go about using these products? Can I dump both of them in the fuel tank at the same time? Or should I use one at a time? Also, is oil change mandatory after use of each product?

Good to know. But I might as well use them since someone gave them to me. Some YouTube videos seemed to confirm certain brands' capabilities

yea unless its a diesel like mine. i use chevron diesel gas and i add techron d fuel system cleaner more frequent than i should because you just never know when CBU comes around knocking on your door. they say be prepared, than be sorry. in my opinion, cleaners do a very good job for either gasoline or diesel engine. i've experienced both and it does makes a difference and it all depends on how clean your system are and what type of fuel you've been using

the fuel system cleaner is more helpful, but you can try using both.

add either of the cleaner when you got a quarter tank of fuel or less and then refuel so that it mixes together. do some full throttle pulls.

honestly, you can keep your injectors clean but simply ensuring you bring the car up to redline about once a week. cleaner is not necessary but it wont hurt if you have higher mileage.

oh, and use shell 91 if yours is ethanol free. a good quality fuel is important.

Do I have to change engine oil after adding either of these cleaners?

it's not necessary if you have been keeping up with your oil changes every 5000 miles.
