want to be a new m3 owner
hey guys,
i just recently joined this forum to learn more about the e36 m3's because i want to purchase one. any suggestions on what year? i want to get something around '98-99 coupes, but haven't found a good deal yet. also what should i be looking for when i'm buying an m3. thanks. ANY info will be greatly appreciated. btw...i previously drove a '95 integra gsr. can't wait to become a bimmer owner though.

First, read the sticky at the top of this forum for maintenance issues with E36s. These can be a big bargaining point.
No real "best" year. If you are going for modding, the 95s respond best to bolt on engine stuff like CAIs, since they are OBD 1 setups, versus the PBD II of 96 and later. It all really comes down to what YOU want in the car as to color, options, etc.

I know where a low mileage 99 helrot red is that still has warranty for sale. I think he's around $21,000.
