Exclamation X5 3.0 belt squeal problems

Has anyone out there had any issues with belt squeal on their X5. I have 02 3.0 with about 42k miles on it.

The problem started about two months ago...and I took it to the local bmw dealer and they first lubricatted the belts and sent it back. Two days later the problem came back worse and was squealing at lower rpms all the time now and not just at start.

Took it in a second time and dealer replaced serpentine belt and put a new updated tensioner arm on. We took her home and days later it happened again at start up and when the A/C started. So we take her in again and the dealer finds a kink in some A/C hose so they replaced some A/C valve and compressor. This was great, no noises for about a week then the squeal came back for two minutes when the cars starts up and there is a constant whine now.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions or dealt with similar issues? Me and the dealer are perplexed. He is suggesting possibly a faulty tensioner arm.

Sounds like the squealing belt, if it is correctly tensioned and contaminant free, is only a symtom, and not the disease.
It's likely that one of the ancilleries that the belt drives is putting an undue load on the belt symtomatic of a problem elsewhere, most likely the alternator due to excessive electrical load.
Get it checked by someone who knows what they're doing.
