X3 - Reset Pano Roof...?
Hello All -
Had the X3 in for some service, which I assume required disconnecting the battery. Anyway - now the pano roof will only open about 2" or tilt up about 1/2". It will return to the closed position. ![]() I have heard there is a process to reset... anyone have info on how to do this? I'd rather not take it back to service if I can reset myself. Thanks in advance! -T |

http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83501 Bascially you just push the button up and hold for at least 30 seconds (if not longer) and let the roof go through its set of openings/closings. |

Danka! I had read that post months ago - but couldn't relocate with the search.
Many thanks! -T |

I did the reset routine... after about 20 seconds of holding the button, the roof will start to open to the "vent" position and then recloses. The interior shade never moves from the fully closed position during this.
Nothing more than that. Held the button for over 2 minutes in one attempt... Oh well - back to the service department. Thanks for the info anyway. -T |
