I figure we should start hearing things sometime soon since 2006 production will start in September.

I heard that new 2.5 has 215hp while 3.0 with 255hp. interior will be abit less rubber made than now. nothing else I know of

Wrong. BMW will not change the engines in the X3 until the new X5 comes out for MY07.

Exactly... I think last year by this time we already had the info on 2005 changes. I wonder why so quiet now? Could it be that there are some rumoured changes to the interior/exterior and they want to keep it quiet until they clear more of the existing inventory? '05 X3 are already on lease special in my area so they want to clear them out....
