Have a friend contemplating an E60 purchase. It has SMG and she wants to know the extent of the adjustability. I told her that it should have a few modes to select from in both auto and shift modes. I am a total tard when it comes to this trans so would like to know how well suited it can be for her. She isn't too interested in shift-on-your-own but would like the upshifts in auto to be smoother. Can the trans be adjusted for this? She just wants to cruise around and not notice gear changes much. Tks.
