Sport and Economy Mode
Hi guys/gals,
Just want to find out something about the Sports and Economy Mode. What exactly takes place when it's in Sports Mode as Compared to Economy Mode. I know the Gearbox ECU runs on a different set of program but does the ECU run on a different kind of mapping/program? |

I think it's just the gearbox program that's the difference and doesn't do anything to the engine computer.
Sport will upshift later and hold the gear even when you back off the gas pedal (upto certain rev depending on your speeD) Econ will upshift ASAP and will be in 5th gear by 40mph Don't know if you have Snow (the "*"), it will start in 2nd gear. If your gear lever is in anything but D, it will start in that gear indicated. (if you put in "3", you start in 3rd gear) |
